JUNIOR Boxing AWARDS in SWANSEA

The Chris Jones Boxing Academy adheres to the ABA Boxing Awards Programme. These awards are designed as a fun, recreational programme for all participants at all levels, ages and abilities.

The awards are designed at grass roots level promoting a healthy lifestyle, fitness, weight control and also contributing to increased self-esteem and confidence. There is no contact involved in most of the recreational boxing awards and therefore there is no need for a participant to have a boxing medical.

The award scheme is offered in five stages: Preliminary, Standard, Bronze, Silver and Gold with incentives at every stage. Chris Jones Boxing Academy delivers the preliminary, standard and bronze awards and then passes on pupils to complete their silver and gold awards at a local amateur boxing club.

The awards are delivered by ABA qualified Boxing Tutors in leisure facilities, whilst working for Chris Jones Boxing Academy. All coaches have Enhanced CRB Disclosure and are First Aid trained and qualified to a high level and standard.

The preliminary, standard and bronze awards ensure everybody benefits from the skills and disciplines involved in amateur boxing in Wales as well as keeping fit and having fun.
